ASSESSMENTS

Assessment forms the cornerstone of education at Direction School. These assessments are substantiated by the following evidence:

Early Years Monthly & Terminal Formative Assessments

In the Early Years, our assessment process focuses on evaluating students' abilities, compatibility, academic proficiency, and understanding levels. We meticulously organize and execute authentic formative and summative assessments that enable us to identify learning abilities and potential disabilities.

In the early years, students undergo formative assessment consistently throughout the week, month, and term. This is facilitated through Monthly Formative Assessment Sheets, which are tailored to the syllabus for each specific month and gauge the attainment of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs).

Primary and Lower Secondary Assessment

Our approach to assessments in Primary and Lower Secondary levels is well-structured, aligning with the students' learning capacity.

Terminal assessments are conducted twice during the academic year, evaluating core subjects comprehensively. Meanwhile, non-core subjects are evaluated through formative assessments. This balanced approach ensures a thorough evaluation of students' understanding and progress across both essential and supplementary subjects.
